Additional Costing Information

Send frozen serum, separated ASAP after bleeding.
Requests for C2 & C5-9 will be tested for CH50 and the individual components will only be tested if CH50 is deficient and the Clinical Immunologist approves sending testing overseas. Additional samples may be required and costs and turnaround time will be increased if samples are sent away.
Alternative pathway and Lectin binding pathways will also be reported.
