An IgG antibody level of 0.2 IU/mL is considered to confer immunity to tetanus. (1) Test is standardised against WHO human anti-tetanus reference material (coded 26/488). Pre and post vaccination ranges were determined by this laboratory using sera from 19 healthy adults not vaccinated for at least 10 years.
Results may be delayed if awaiting post vaccination sample.
