Found in 60% of children with untreated coeliac disease. 30% of adult coeliac's and 25% of patients with dermatitis herpetiformis. Titre may fall following treatment. Antibodies may also be present with other inflammatory bowel disorders.
Further testing for TTG antibodies is suggested if clinically indicated
