Pre-testing Requirements

Antimicrobials, proton pump inhibitors or bismuth preparations suppress H.pylori in the gut. Ingestation of these agents may give false negative test results.

It is recommended the H.pylori faecal antigen test is performed at least 2 weeks post treatment
