Counter current immunoelectrophoresis is used to detect antibodies against the following antigens: Ro/SSA, La/SSB, RNP, Sm, Jo-1, ribosomal P, Ku , PCNA, Scl-70, PM-Scl, Mi-2.
Identification is performed on positive screens only.
If not already requested, samples testing positive by ENA may be reflex tested for ANA to confirm band identity.
