Chimerism Analysis

Diagnostic Use

Chimerism analysis determines percent donor/recipient cells in the peripheral blood or bone marrow following a bone marrow transplant.
Note that T cells and neutrophils are initially isolated from peripheral blood for separate chimerism analyses.

Please contact the laboratory (genelab.test@cdhb.health.nz, ext 86008) before collecting samples from children for chimerism analysis requests.
