Yes, by arrangement with TB staff, ext 81356/88352 as culture bottles are held by the laboratory and must be requested.
Additional Specimen Information
Patient Specimen -Blood, marrow, trephine inoculated at bedside.
Sample Transportation: If delay anticipated and specialised bottle not available put specimen in SPS (yellow top) tube or Sodium Citrate (blue top) tube.
Contact laboratory ext 88352/80117 to obtain special blood broth bottle.
