Arbovirus serology includes tests for Zika IgG, Zika IgM, Dengue IgG, Dengue IgM, Dengue NS1Ag, Chikungunya IgG, and Chikungunya IgM.

Japanese encephalitis, Kunjin (West Nile), Murray Valley are referred elsewhere for testing.

Pre-testing Requirements

Asymptomatic patients require GP consultation with a microbiologist or other medical specialist prior to collection of samples. Full travel history including dates of travel are also required.

Asymptomatic males or non-pregnant females requesting Zika Virus require patient payment.

Asymptomatic pregnant patients will not have a patient charge
