Haematolymphoid Pathology & Lymphoma

Haematopathology encompasses diseases of the Lymphoreticular system including lymph nodes, bone marrow, spleen and thymus.

Our specialist haematopathologists examine biopsies and excision specimens from the Lymphoreticular system as well as abnormal lymphoid infiltrates from all tissue sites.  In addition to the diagnosis of Haematopoetic and Lymphoid neoplasms, Haematopathology includes a wide range of benign and reactive conditions.

Our haematopathologists participate in the regular Lymphoma multidisciplinary team meetings and also support the Haematology team in providing second opinions of abnormal bone marrow infiltrates.
