Diagnostic Use

From 23 February 2026, we will be implementing reflex Hepatitis C viral load testing for new Hepatitis C antibody positive patients.
For referred samples:
The viral load can now be performed on the same serum sample as the Hepatitis C Antibody, negating the need for further sample collection. A serum aliquot of 1.5mL is required. Please clearly note the sample type on the referral form.
