Additional Referral/Aliquot Information

Preferred 500 uL plasma, store fridge. Minimum 250 uL plasma.
Transport to lab frozen if delayed more than 24hrs, otherwise on ice.

West Coast: If specimen is unable to be separated, take blood on SST/PST and send chilled to Greymouth Lab. At Greymouth lab freeze serum/plasma for transport to CHL.

Reference Intervals

Reference range: <13 ng/L

TNT begins to rise in the plasma about 6 hours post MI
