Diagnostic Use

From January 2026, diphtheria antibody testing will no longer be available at CHL due to the discontinuation of the associated EQA programme. The primary indication for diphtheria antibody testing is in the assessment of immunodeficiency. Alternative vaccine serology tests remain available for this purpose.

We are able to provide advice on suitable alternative testing strategies if required.
