Diagnostic Use

This test analyses the CDH1 and CTNNA1 genes for germline variants associated with hereditary diffuse gastric cancer (HDGC). Identification of a pathogenic variant can confirm a hereditary cancer predisposition, inform gastric and breast cancer surveillance and risk-reduction strategies, and enable predictive testing of at-risk family members.
